MacRobert & Canals is a small family-owned winery that started through the integration of Bryan MacRobert a South African winemaker and grape grower, into the Canals family, who have been living in Rioja for over forty years. We are an atypical project in Rioja differentiated by our roots, experience and winemaking philosophy. We prioritize the vineyard over the cellar and we strive to produce high quality terroir transparent wines that show the diversity of the soils, vineyards, varieties and climates that exist within the region, working both on the land and in the cellar with a profound respect for our vineyards and our wines.
